A Heritage 576 in Natural finish from 1996.

I got this one a few months ago and had the original Schaller pickupsand hardware replaced with Duncan P-Rails with Triple Shot switching mounting rings and Tonepros bridge and tailpiece.

The 576 is a discontinued model, it's basically a single cut version of a 535 with a deeper 2 3/4" body.

It has a floating centre block and is heavier than a fully hollow 575 but is more feedback resistant.

The scale length is 24 3/4" with a rosewood fingerboard and mother of pearl block inlays with a bound headstock veneered in the same natural finish as the body of the guitar.

Ha !

I love the P-Rails, I like how they look and they sound fantastic, the switching rings give lots of tones.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose :biz:

P-Rails in a hollowbody? I guess your luther just hates you, what a mess to put all this in the f-holes...

The guy that did the work is called Pete Moreno.

He's in the US, in Kalamazoo Michigan. He worked for Gibson and then Heritage, he's probably wired hundreds of hollow bodies.

He also did the pickups, hardware and setup on my Heritage Prospect, 535 and 170. The 576 was scuffed up a bit so he did a full buff and polish on it, it's very shiny and new looking now.

:mdr:
