G&L Legacy USA in cherry burst

Satin finish maple neck with rosewood board and abalone dot inlays ash body with cream pickguard, pickups and controls.

Pickups are G&Ls own alnico V single coils, with G&Ls PTB controls, master volume, bass and treble.

This is a a fairly recent 2008 Legacy, the neck is medium to chunky, not slim at all.

A Legacy sounds warmer and fuller than an American Standard Strat, mainly due to the PTB circuit.

A more typical Fender like tone can be had by rolling off the bass from 10 to about 7.

I bought this used, I have discovered that it originally came from Portland Percussion, a main G&L dealer.

I have not purchased from them directly, they do seem to have a few leftys and do ship to Europe on their Ebay store.

The tone system on the Legacy is very interesting, you can have lots of sounds by using it, very useful
